Infinite Infinite Jest

Ah, the enduring influence of David Foster Wallace’s Infinite Jest. One of its footnotes inspired a gallery exhibit, and I’m pretty sure this is the hypnotically lethal video in question.

But there’s more. Apparently a group of Minnesotans have created a real-world version of Eschaton, a complicated RISK-style game developed at the tennis academy in the novel. (Hat tip to HTML Giant) I’m from Minneapolis, and it’s a rare day that something in the ol’ homestead trumps what NYC can offer. Any intrepid New Yorkers want to help me set up a Brooklyn version?
