The NYC Blizzard in Book Covers

If you’re inside, looking out at the blizzard, it’s “beautiful” and “magical.” If you had to leave the office for whatever reason, then it’s “disgusting” and a “slush-clogged hell.” Which got me thinking about book covers that reflect the weather, an aesthetic pathetic fallacy.

Hey that ‘Rain’ cover is totally freaking gorgeous. It’s got quemadura written all over it. Am I right?

  2. Wintery weather tends to make me think of the HC cover of Orhan Pamuk’s Snow.
