The (Fake) New York Times Bestsellers

Famous Novelist

Steve Hely and his book How I Became a Famous Novelist have already interviewed itself, hoodwinked publishing on April Fool’s Day, and listed the best imaginary summer reads.

Now he’s asking readers to make up their own fake bestsellers. Check out some from his book below, or the full list here.

You can add your own on Twitter, pairing it with the hashtag #hely and the shortened URL (for context)  http://is.gd/1xsdW; you can also post titles to his Facebook page for the book.

Fake Bestseller - Steve Hely

Some of mine:

T Is for Too Old for This Shit
Getting Things Dead: An Organized Mystery
Tooth and Nail: What a Mako Shark and a Carpenter Taught Me About Life

UPDATE: The New York Times review just went up.
