Exploring the New Yorker’s Archives

The New Yorker‘s archives are open to all for the next couple months. After that, the metered paywall goes up. So for those of you who haven’t subscribed, here are a few recommended gems:

  8. Sadly, the “free archive” only goes back as far as January 2007 and then only a few issues per year are open to the public.

    The highlighted covers are able to be opened without a paid subscription, the rest can only be opened with your wallet: http://archives.newyorker.com/?i=2010-10-04#folio=CV1
